A dance performance about finding and insisting on one's place in life
Five explorers find themselves in a new and unknown place. Secretly, they begin to gather knowledge about the strangers they meet on their way – they sneak through the streets, follow, observe, mirror, copy, trying their best to gain an understanding of the strange creatures that look and move in ways they have never seen before.
At the meeting place, they share the observations from their wanderings, and everything is gathered in a musical and choreographic climax that leaves the conclusion of the investigations: their picture of the world they have landed in.
REFLEKTOR is a dance performance for all ages about being a stranger and feeling outside. About not understanding or following the rules. About not belonging, but still finding and insisting on one’s place in life.
